Traditional Online MSW Program Admissions

The traditional SocialWork@Simmons program is 65 credits and can be completed on an accelerated (four terms), full-time (six terms), or extended (eight terms) basis. The admissions standards for the online traditional program are the same as the on-campus program, and we seek candidates who are committed to social work values.

To be considered for SocialWork@Simmons, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with at least a 3.0 (B) grade point average. Relevant work or volunteer experience is also required.

We enroll students in our traditional full-time and extended-study online MSW programs throughout the year. Our accelerated program is also offered throughout the year with the exception of the March and November cohorts. Please refer to the application deadlines below.
